City of West Bend Librarian Salaries

...Ginny Maziarka has posted what appears to be salaries for various West Bend Library personnel, as well as other "county" salary figures. (Of course, who knows if she's interpreting the budget documents correctly.) It remains a mystery how this is at all relevant to her desire to remove access to books at the library...

  1. Without her using this information to make a particular point, I think her posting this is just plain rude, even if the salaries are a matter of public record.

  2. I think its time to start paying for some online background checks of the Ginnster.

  3. Since Ginny doesn't really make a point (she provides 0 comparative interpretations of the data, but that speaks to her intellectual capacity, or should we say lack thereof), my take-away on it is that, man, library pay sucks! Definitely must be the bottom-feeders of public sector employment. I'm glad Ginny presented this information - definitely shows these people are way underpaid.

  4. I suspect that this aren't the only salary line items for some of these people; perhaps they're paid from other funding sources, other government agencies, grants, etc. Of course, Ginny doesn't possess the skills to determine this for us, which is why such a posting is useless.

  6. I just left this comment:

You haven't answered my other calm, honest requests for clarification, so I doubt you'll answer this one. But, indulge me: Why exactly did you think this was worth sharing? I understand it is likely public information, but what is your point?

  7. The most interesting thing she could find was their salaries? Way to go Ginny! She was probably expecting to see like $800 donations to GLAAD or something?

  8. Wow, she has discovered that many people at the library work for an unspecified number of hours throughout the course of a year.

    Unfortunately, you're probably wrong.

  10. Ginny said "I believe in sharing"

Me too. And I found this case file that appears to be Ginny from a previous marriage. True?

  11. If anyone had the time, could mosey over to the Washington County Courthouse Probate Office at 432 East Washington Street in West Bend and check to see how much Ginny got (listed as one of 5 recipients) from this case (total estate inventory $92,553):

    Washington County Case Number 2008IN000103

And, you wouldn't even need to file an ORR!
