    Wow, Kitty Werthmann was 12 years old when Hitler was around in Austria, and somehow she has "personal insight into the horrors of life under nationalized healthcare/education/religion, and how they got their through trickery by the government"?

    My aunt was 12 when she was taken to Auschwitz. Does she not understand the horror of living under Nazism?

    Horros of being in Auschwitz, certainly. But do you think she has "personal insight" as it relates to "nationalized healthcare/education/religion"? I doubt any 12 year old even understands what that means.

    Actually both she and my grandmother who fled Berlin when she was 6 understand this completely. Even a 6 year old can understand when there is nationalized religion because she can't attend the same schools as Christian children and when they throw rocks at her the police and everyone else does nothing.
